How do you handle difficult clients?

Just had a client who kept changing requirements after I started working. How do you guys handle scope creep? Do you charge extra or just include it?

I always send a clear scope document before starting. If they want changes outside the scope, I explain it is additional work and provide a quote.

Communication is key. I set expectations in my first message about what is included and what costs extra.
